The fun, safe & supportive community for girls ages 8-14. Inspiring self-expression and creativity online and in the magazine.

Founded by girls and women as a community for girls to learn, explore, and share their experiences, wisdom and advice with each other and with the world. Our members come from 45 countries and connect online in the fully-moderated creative community and in the magazine. Writing, photography, poetry, art, advice, opinions and games by and for girls bring them together with other girls who share their interests.

No advertising means that girls shape the messages, not corporations.  Our Girls Editorial Board pioneered youth-led media that's been adopted by many other groups since 1992.
